Our CEO, Patrick Tillery, was nominated for a seat on the IUMI (International Union of Marine Insurance) Loss Prevention Committee last year and was elected by the IUMI Council on 16 December 2019.

Patrick Tillery continuously handles transport damage and loss-prevention cases within the company. Over the next three years, he will contribute to the committee with knowledge from his specialist areas, such as warehouse assessments or supply chain risk analyses, packaging technology as well as cargo damage and its prevention.

The International Union of Marine Insurance is the global association of marine insurers. Its members are national (cargo) insurance associations. The IUMI’s field of activity includes political work with national governments, the EU, the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a training programme, events and conferences, cooperation with other leading maritime associations and classification societies, as well as technical work on relevant and trendsetting issues for marine insurers.
