At the end of June 2023, Percy Tillery will be taking his leave of the company as chairman and director after more than 49 years of service.

He joined the company in 1974 and became managing partner at Battermann & Tillery GmbH after being publicly appointed and sworn in as a cargo surveyor in 1980. During the 1990s, he drove the expansion of our German network of branches and in the 2000s, he laid the foundation for the successful internationalisation of the business.

In 2010, he handed over the management of the company to his son, Patrick Tillery, and over the ensuing years, gradually withdrew from the operations side of the business.

After such a successful tenure, we wish him all the best in this new chapter of his life with lots of relaxation, great times and tons of fun with his grandchildren!
